I can’t remember the exact day that I more or less said “take this job and shove it”— to write full time—but I do remember that it was early September of 2013. So, here we are, TEN YEARS and 24 BOOKS LATER.
There’s not much to say other than THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND CONTINUED READERSHIP!
It goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway. Without YOU—THE READER—the author STEVEN KONKOLY wouldn’t exist. I’d still exist, but I’d most likely have crawled back to my previous employer and begged them to take me back. And they probably wouldn’t have been very receptive after my rather abrupt departure.
So, with all of my gratitude—THANK YOU!
Now on to some updates:
1.) WIDE AWAKE, the third and final Devin Gray book, has been a huge success. For a third book in a series, it has far exceeded all expectations. The reviews (nearly 1,000 in two weeks) are stellar, and I’m finally resting easy with the notion that I closed out the series properly. THANK YOU for making this final book in the series such a success. I met with my publisher this past Friday, and they couldn’t be happier. We’re both very excited about things to come with my next series…which I still can’t really talk about until they start to upload some specifics to Amazon. More to come on that soon.

And if you haven’t checked out the series, DEEP SLEEP (BOOK ONE) is on sale for $2.49. Half price. CLICK HERE TO START THE DEVIN GRAY SERIES.
2.) There is no 2! Enjoy the last of summer. We just planted a second round of lettuce, cilantro, arugula and kale for the fall. Still getting plenty of tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, basil and a few cucumbers. Fall is just around the corner, despite the 90 degree temperatures.
AND apropos of nothing, I leave you with a picture of TONY, our year and a half old miniature poodle.
Happy Reading!
Steve
Keep doing what you do best.
So very glad you decided to write your books. I have read and enjoyed each one. Patiently awaiting the next one, whatever it might be!
Loved the doggie picture.
