Here's the unredacted version of my Writer's Dossier via Jeff Circle’s podcast. It contains comments I probably should have kept to myself, and spans two of my series. A HIRED KILL (Book 2) in my latest, launches next week on the 27th!
Steven, interesting dossier! I learned a little more about you and your writing. I’ve read several of your series and always lots of action. You keep me motivated for my own writing. Thank you.
I think I've exhausted the possibilities for action...without repeating. Especially with multiple series. A shoot out is a shoot out, but I try to make it different enough every time. On the water, high rises, underground fortresses...wait until you see where I had to go with Book 3 in this series. Hurricane boat chase.
We all know that "kitchen remodeling" is a term of art for Steve conducting some intelligence mission for his next book. He's probably flying across the Gobi desert at night, an HK VP9 in a shoulder holster as he scans the dunes ahead with AGM PVS-7 night vision goggles.
Tim. We need to have a talk. A van will pick you up tonight. The talk might take place out of the country. I've moved on to "Installing Japanese toilets" now.
It always brings me satisfaction when I can look into an author’s mind and try to understand the process they use to write a book. Knowing the history, even some everyday occurrences ( kitchen remodeling yuk) helps bring that ‘click’, that ‘ oh yeah’ moment when reading their books. Thanks Steve for sharing a little bit of you. I have read them all, beta and arc’d a few too. Looking forward to the next. Garrett is great fun.
No I did not. Thanks for asking. I will have review ready if you send soon, otherwise will still buy book next week. You need to pay for those new appliances your wife asked for. 😊. Thanks. Leslie
Oh...I stepped it up to the next level with one of those "hidden" refrigerator situations. Can I send you an e-copy? Email me at books@striblingmedia.com.
The scary thing about this is that we have people out there all the time giving up more about Steve that we're collecting for future Dossier releases. It's an ongoing thing. :-)

Sounds like a hoot!

Did you get an advanced copy of the upcoming release? I've been so distracted, I couldn't tell you if I tied my shoes today.

I think I know who you're talking about. And I'm going to have a "chat" with that individual. LOL!
