I recently assembled a visual recreation of the trip our son and I took to visit the American landing beaches and drop zone areas of Normandy, France—but the post is too long to send in an email. I’ve added a link below. I hope you enjoy this walk back through time on a once in a lifetime journey. We spent five days walking the cliffs, beaches, towns, fields…everywhere. It was simply unbelievable.

Oh Steve, I am completely nonplussed for once. The cemetery really got me! The layers of concrete and steel.... amazing! No wonder they are still there.
